Bienvenido Lumbera  is a Filipino poet, critic and dramatist. He is a  National Artist of the Philippines  and a recipient of the  Ramon Magsaysay Award  for Journalism, Literature and Creative Communications. His poem has a great impact for those people who are drown by just accepting without realizing.      Our group was assigned to answer the following given questions but since we didn't know that power point is needed we just answer it directly. Mrs. Agaton enlightened our minds to understand the poem. As we tackle about the poem there are a lot of thoughts that goes on my mind like when Ka bel was imprisoned I thought that he would be hated by the people because of his imprisonment but the people was enlightened and realized that he was right. People goes with the flow whatever is happening into our country although not all citizens but some of, if the time comes that I'm at the right age to vote for, I am going to vote for the one  who has a potential to

A family is a treasure that no one could ever steal unless it is time to let go. Family can be define as your motivation a strong and bold. And the reason why I am leaving this world because I have my mother and father who are my inspiration to catch up all my dreams in life.     I am so blessed that I have this called "family". A family that is always there whatever circumstances we made into our life. As the only daughter in the family it is really a challenge for me to understand on how girls should be treated. I have a big family, I have five brothers and I'm the younger one. I wish that in the future I may experience a whole and happy family that would never separate whatever problems and struggle we've been through and that is one of my dreams. I am not saying that my family isn't happy, the sad part was my mother left me without telling her reason. Growing up without a mother is really a hard time for me. It was hard for me to attend scho

Everyone has an experience puppy love, but does puppy love becomes true love?  True love waits but not all who are willing to wait can be loved back by someone who he/she love. Puppy love is a crush, calf love or kitten love is an informal term for feelings of love, romance or infatuation often felt by young people during their childhood and adolescence.      This story gives me insight that true love will always remain in the heart and mind even though Jacobo were already in loved by someone. The story Puppy love brings me back into my childhood days. As I have read the story Puppy love by Francisco Sionil Jose, at first scenario where the

It is also known as snow cabbage, Chinese chard or Chinese white cabbage, but in the Philippines it is called baguio pechay or pechay wambok. Petchay is added to Filipino stews like nilagang baka/baboy (boiled beef/pork) and bulalo (boiled beef shank) that many Filipino people’s favorite dish. As I planted petchay in a recyclable bottle (coca cola 1.5) where I cut it into half and put some holes under the bottle so that there’s an exit for the water every time I am going to water the plant. I started putting 5 seeds in the bottle that I recycled, for 2-3 days I saw small buds growing out of the soil. Every morning I take a look on it and sprinkle some of water then put it outside our house to have some sun light that every plants needed. When I was in grade 11 we also have this project planting pechay i
